Our mission
Support Maine is a free community resource directory that connects people across the state with verified assistance programs. From food banks and shelters to heating assistance and mental health services, we organize the information that matters most and keep it up to date.
Why we exist
Finding help in Maine should not take hours of searching, phone trees, or outdated pamphlets. We built Support Maine to put every verified resource in one place, organized by category and town, so you can find what you need in minutes.
How we work
- We verify. Every resource is confirmed through direct outreach: phone calls, emails, and on-the-ground checks. We do not just scrape directories.
