Who can use this?
Open to adult women (age 21 and older) who identify as female and are experiencing homelessness. The facility is low-barrier. Florence House does not take referrals from providers and does not maintain a waiting list for emergency beds.

For emergency shelter, call (207) 699-4392 at 1:00 PM to check availability for a One Night Emergency (ONE) bed. Beds are not reserved in advance and there is no waiting list. The facility includes apartments for long-term residents, a safe-haven area, and emergency beds. Preble Street staff are on-site around the clock.
