Preble Street has served Greater Portland for over 50 years, providing emergency food, shelter, and social services to people experiencing homelessness and poverty. Their Resource Center at 252 Oxford St is a cornerstone of Portland's safety net, providing thousands of nourishing meals each month. They also operate specialized programs including anti-trafficking services, recuperative care, and housing for youth.
